Direct thermal Labels
Direct thermal labels are available in standard paper and polypropylene. Direct thermal printing does not rely on ribbons to print. Direct transfer labels have a heat-sensitive property that turns to black when it reaches a certain temperature.
The coated direct thermal paper labels are best used in indoor environments. Direct sunlight can cause the product to darken. The cost of direct thermal labels is slightly higher than standard thermal transfer labels. They work great for address labels, shipping labels and any temporary application. Direct thermal labels are not suitable for outdoor use.
